Perhaps part of a larger Nike, Inc. collection, the pair is covered in fabric, abandoning its traditional leather upper construction. Non-standard stitch lines animate the lateral forefoot, as well as the spine. The ruby-colored flair potentially harkens back to Chicago Bulls heritage.
Underfoot, the Jordan 1 Low keeps things simpler in color scheme, but exciting nonetheless. The made-for-basketball sole unit prefers a grayscale finish, but it also enjoys a recycled construction. The design choice further contributes to the Swoosh’s “Move to Zero” initiative, which aims to champion sustainability and see the company become carbon neutral.
